Cars4Greece Rental Terms

These terms explain the main rules for renting a car with Cars4Greece in Rhodes. The confirmed booking and signed rental agreement always define the final rental details.

Rental Eligibility

Rentals are available to drivers who meet the age, licence, document and payment requirements confirmed by Cars4Greece.

Driver Age & Licence Requirements

The minimum driver age is 21 years, and each driver must hold a valid driving licence for at least 2 years.

Required Documents

Drivers must present a valid driving licence, identification or passport, and any booking confirmation requested at pickup.

Insurance and excess terms are shown clearly for each car before booking.

Insurance Exclusions

Insurance does not cover prohibited use, serious negligence, driving under the influence, unauthorised drivers, incorrect fuel, lost keys, interior damage or traffic violations.

Unlimited Kilometres

Unlimited kilometres are included for normal use on Rhodes unless a confirmed booking states otherwise.

Free Second Driver

A second driver is included free of charge when that driver meets the same age, licence and document requirements.

Payment on Arrival

Payment on arrival is available by cash or card according to the confirmed booking details.

Fuel Policy

The vehicle should be returned with the agreed fuel level. Missing fuel may be charged according to the rental agreement.

Airport / Hotel Delivery

Airport, hotel, villa or apartment delivery is provided only when confirmed by Cars4Greece for the booking.

Customer Responsibility

The customer is responsible for careful vehicle use, parking, security, keys, documents and prompt communication if an issue occurs.

Accident Procedure

In case of accident or damage, the customer must contact Cars4Greece immediately and follow police or insurance procedures where required.

Traffic Fines

Traffic fines, parking tickets, tolls and administrative costs caused during the rental are the customer responsibility.

Vehicle Use

The vehicle may be used only on suitable public roads in Rhodes and only by authorised drivers listed or accepted for the rental.

Prohibited Use

Off-road driving, racing, towing, sub-rental, illegal activity, ferry travel without approval and use by unauthorised drivers are prohibited.

Lost Keys / Missing Equipment

Lost keys, missing documents, missing accessories or damaged equipment may be charged according to replacement or administrative cost.

Roadside Assistance

24/7 road assistance is available during the rental. Customers should contact Cars4Greece before arranging third-party repairs.

Modification / Cancellation

Booking changes and cancellations depend on vehicle availability, timing and the confirmed booking conditions.

Return Conditions

The vehicle must be returned at the agreed place and time, in reasonable condition and with agreed fuel, keys and documents.

Final Agreement Priority

If any summary differs from the signed rental agreement or confirmed booking, the signed or confirmed rental documents prevail.

Booking, Payment and Refunds

A booking is formed when Cars4Greece confirms the vehicle, dates, pickup details and price. Payment on arrival is available for confirmed bookings, and Pay Now may be available where shown. Eligible cancellations and refund requests must be made at least 7 days before pickup. Cancellations within 7 days of pickup are non-refundable. No refund is automatic; paid eligible refunds remain subject to the existing admin-confirmed refund flow, and no-show, late arrival beyond the confirmed hold period or non-refundable offers may limit or remove refund rights.

Arrival Hold and Delivery Conditions

Where a vehicle hold applies, Cars4Greece may hold the vehicle for up to 2 hours from the confirmed pickup time when communication is available. Airport, hotel, villa or apartment delivery is provided only where confirmed for the booking.

Right of Withdrawal

Car-rental services booked for specific dates do not automatically benefit from the ordinary 14-day distance-contract withdrawal right. This does not remove any cancellation or refund rights stated in the confirmed booking conditions.

Fuel, Insurance and Standard Offer

Fuel is same-to-same: the vehicle should be returned with the agreed fuel level. Standard Cars4Greece rentals include Insurance and excess terms are shown clearly for each car before booking. for the standard fleet, unlimited kilometres, a free second driver when eligible and 24/7 road assistance, subject to confirmed terms and exclusions.

Damage, Fees and Exclusions

The customer remains responsible for exclusions including glass, mirrors, lost or damaged keys, documents, interior damage, screens, smoking fee, wet seats fee, wrong fuel, driving under alcohol or drugs, unauthorised drivers, fines and parking penalties.

Prohibited Use and Rhodes Restriction

The vehicle must not be used off-road, for racing, towing, sub-rental, illegal activity, by unauthorised drivers or removed from Rhodes, including ferry travel, unless Cars4Greece gives prior written approval.

Law, Jurisdiction and Complaints

The rental is governed by Greek law. Complaints should be sent first to Cars4Greece using the contact details above. If a consumer dispute cannot be resolved directly, the customer may use the competent Greek consumer dispute route or courts.
